13 Soldiers suffered injuries and some soldiers are missing after the terrorists of the deadly Boko Haram sect attacked them.

The Nigeria Army has confirmed an attack on troops in the border town of Gashigar by Boko Haram insurgents injuring 13 soldiers, while some are missing.
A statement by the acting Director of Army Public Relation (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, said the attack carried out Monday evening “at about 5:30p.m by escaping remnants of Boko Haram terrorists,” forced the troops to vacate the location.
The military statement titled: “Troops suffer setback in Garshigar,” reads in part: “the troops did their best to defend the location in vain. In the process, 13 soldiers sustained injuries while some are still missing in action. The temporary setback made the troops to withdraw from the location.
“However, the wounded soldiers have been evacuated and receiving treatment, while efforts are ongoing in search of those missing and clear the Boko Haram terrorists at the general area.
