Thirty six ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from May 26 to June 16.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
NPA indicated that the expected ships contained buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, crude palm olein, bulk charcoal, bulk gypsum, bulk pet coke, bulk salt, containers, diesel and petrol.
According to the document, 14 ships have arrived the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, base oil, crude palm olein, general cargo and aviation fuel.
NAN reports that 17 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, buck wheat, containers, bulk fertiliser, bulk charcoal and petrol. (NAN)
