After a twin bombing that killed at least 26 people in Maiduguri Thursday night, BBC is reporting a fresh attack Friday morning in the city suspected to be carried out by 4 suicide bombers affiliated to the violent Islamist militant sect, Boko Haram.
BBC stated the Nigeria army confirmed this morning’s attack but did not give further details about the attack – “Nigerian Army tells #BBCNewsday another suspected Boko Haram attack this morning after suicide bombings yesterday evening”
Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, has informed soldiers involved in Lafia Dole, the operation to rout the terrorist sect, that the coming days will be crucial as the army tries to meet the December deadline set by President Muhammadu Buhari to defeat the sect.
