Manchester City star player Kevin De Bruyne has handed Kelechi Iheanacho, the team manager Guardiola, and the whole team a huge boost as he returned to training following spells on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
The Belgian missed City’s defeat to Tottenham just before the international break and wasn’t involved for his homeland in the matches against Gibraltar and Bosnia Herzegovina.
However, De Bruyne will not be ready to face Everton this weekend but the Citizens have concluded arrangements for him to travel with the squad for Pep Guardiola’s reunion with Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old currently leads the assists table in the Premier League with four and City have missed the edge he gives them in matches since he was sideline and a return against Barcelona is surely the boost they need.
Interestingly, Captain Vincent Kompany has also returned to training but he still remains doubtul for the matches against Everton and Barca.
