Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois has urged Romelu Lukaku to complete a move to Stamford Bridge this summer and says he will be ‘happy’ to see his international team-mate join the club.
Antonio Conte is keen on signing Lukaku this summer and expects Diego Costa to complete a lucrative move to Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjin.
Lukaku, 23, swapped Stamford Bridge for Goodison Park in 2014 and has developed into one of the deadliest strikers in the league.
Courtois announced his
intention to stay with the club on Friday and says he would like to see Belgium team-mate Lukaku join him in west London next season.
‘Romelu is a great player so if he decides to go to Chelsea or Chelsea decide to sign him, I would be happy to see him in the dressing room in July,’ Courtois told Sky Sports.
‘I guess if it’s the right offer he might go. It’s up to him to decide’
