President Muhammadu Buhari is expected in Katsina state on Wednesday enroute to Daura, his hometown, for the Eid-el-kabir celebration.
The President is expected to land at the Umaru Musa Yaradua International Airport by 3pm and thereafter use a presidential chopper to Daura, his country home.
It was learnt that security has been beefed up across the state as people are eager to catch a glimpse of the president.
The state governor, Aminu Masari, has taken to twitter via: @GovernorMasari to welcome the President via: @MBhuari to the state.
