Miss India Manushi Chhillar Wins Miss World 2017
Miss India, Manushi Chhillar, has been crowned the 66th winner of the Miss World beauty pageant.
The Indian beauty clinched the award of the oldest pageantry which held in Chinese coastal city of Sanya on Saturday night.
Manushi, who is a 20-year-old medical student, surpassed 39 other finalists to emerge winner.
England’s Stephanie Hill and Mexico’s Andrea Meza finished top as first and second runners-up respectively.
The winner took to twitter to appreciate her fans, she wrote: “Thank you, everyone, for your constant love, support, and prayers.
“This one’s for India.”
Manushi was handed the crown by the 65th winner of the pageantry, Stephanie Del Valle, of Puerto Rico handed the Indian Queen the crown in the glamorous ceremony.
This year’s edition was hosted by China for the seventh time after it staged the event in 2015.
