The Federal Government (FG) has appointed Dr Joseph Nnanna as the Chairman of Board of Nigeria Export Import Bank (NEXIM).

Nnanna is a former Deputy Governor (Economic Policies) at Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
In a statement by NEXIM the appointment was announced on Friday which also showed other members of the board to include: Dr Mudashiru Olaitan, Mrs Olubunmi Siyanbola, Mr Ochapa Ogenyi, Hon Adesina Adegbenro and Hajiya Ramatu Ahmed.
The directors will join the executive management team of the bank led by Abba Bello as the Managing Director/Chief Executive and assisted by Bala Bello, Executive Director, Corporate services; Stella Okotete, Executive Director, Business Development.
Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun had already inaugurated the board, charging them to ensure effective operations that would help exporters in the country.
Nnanna joined the Central Bank of Nigeria in 1994, and became the Director, Research and Statistics in 2001.
He was appointed Deputy Governor in 2015.
