West Ham have completed the signing of young Portuguese forward Xande Silva from Vitoria Guimaraes for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old, who has represented his country at youth level since he was 15, signed a three-year contract.
Silva, who who scored once in 26 top flight appearances for Vitoria de Guimaraes, will immediately link up with the Hammers’ U23 squad and is set to debut in Friday’s training ground friendly against Watford.
