President Muhammadu Buhari will present the 2020 budget to the National Assembly on Tuesday, October 8.
Okay.ng gathered that Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, announced this during plenary on Thursday.
Lawan reading a letter from Buhari said the presentation of the 2020 Appropriation Bill will hold next week on Tuesday.
The Senate had earlier approved all the 16 recommendations contained in the report of the National Assembly Joint Committee on Finance and National Planning on the 2020-2022 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper.
The recommendations see the increment of the proposed from N10.002trn to N10.729.4trn.
Buhari is currently in South Africa about the welfare of Nigerians in the country after the recent Xenophobic attacks.
