It is vital for viewers to bring back 1 talent.
Voting is back for good
The last Battles episode went down in history as one to be remembered.
In the history of the talent show and since the vote back rule was invented, Coach Niyola kept two talents on her team as opposed to 1 as a prerequisite for the Live Shows. This left Team Niyola with 5 talents on her team instead of 4. This time, voters must bring back 1 talent for good as the voting rule is sustained. Watch here.

Team Naeto C
Guest coach, 9ice filled in for Coach Naeto C who has recurringly been absent. He was tasked with the responsibility of deciding which talents made it to the next round and who didn’t. The talents are: Adeola, Adanna, Amaka, Bryan, Fatima, Jennifer, Nicole and Star.
Jennifer vs Fatima
This was a very beautiful performance

I had goosebumps all over
Niyola
Two power-house singers kicked off the show by singing an Elton John classic. The singers who performed the hit-song ‘Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me’ displayed their individual strengths and vocal prowess’s.
Fatima stretched her talent like never before and displayed how much she wanted to win the battle. Her contender, Jennifer aka Jasper executed her rounds and notes as professionally as was required. Jennifer’s voice was described as buttery by Coach Waje with a velvety finish to it and was layered to deliver her a win. Although a difficult decision for coach 9ice to make, Fatima was commended for her doggedness and creative appeal. Coach Praiz described both singers as the strongest female vocalists on the show.
Adanna vs Nicole
Waje has something to say.

Adanna and Nicole were up next. The uncanny pair performed ‘Dancing With A Stranger’ by Sam Smith and Normani to play to their strengths and abilities. This resulted in a conspicuous lack of synergy between the two singers amidst a myriad of issues. Nicole had a shaky start and Adanna was too distracted by her dancing to sing effortlessly. This resultantly cost the social advocate her win, but Coach Waje had the best advice for her. Waje’s advice in a charge to Adanna spurred the singer to believe in her gift and calling. Coach Waje opined in inextinguishable words:
“If you could touch the life of one person, you’ve done your job.

Amaka vs Star
Star and Amaka had an intriguing rendition of the mega-hit song ‘Wild Thoughts’. The pair who have distinct music styles were a right pair for the battle as they allowed their distinct personalities shine through. Their performance included singing and dance routines to deliver an entertaining round. It however lacked riveting vocal deliveries and performance techniques. Amaka pulled through to deliver her rounds and Star was unlucky with how she handled her microphone. Star’s poor microphone technique was said to have cost her a spot on the live shows. In 9ice’s final words on round: “I’ll hate to see a star go… but I’ll choose Amaka”.
The best performance
This truly felt like a battle…

Coach Naeto C saved the best for last in this epic battle between Bryan and Adeola.
The performance which is highly regarded as one of the best performances of the season by fans and viewers alike is one to watch.
The breakdown
Adeola. Adeola was defiant from start to finish in her delivery of ‘Use Somebody’ by Kings of Leon.
Adeola’s performance recorded: Impeccable notes with zero flat notes; Great Tone and Control, Use of Emotions, and Perfect Enunciation.
Bryan. Bryan was a fantastic counterpart for the pair. The singer with the rich, raspy tone, exhibited great control that matched Adeola’s vocal belts.
Together – both singers were commended for their great harmony and synergy. They were described to have complemented each other – barring vocal textures and ranges. They were also appraised to have followed each other’s pitches to take the song wherever the other wanted to go. Coach 9ice conferred Adeola the undisputed winner after a keenly contested match-up.
