President Bola Tinubu has appointed Femi Gbajabiamila, the outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, as his Chief of Staff.
The news was made public through a statement released on Friday by Abiodun Oladunjoye, the State House Director of Information on Friday.
The statement revealed that the decision was made during a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum.
Accompanying this pivotal appointment, the President also named a highly respected figure in Nigerian politics, Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia, as Deputy Chief of Staff. Sen. Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State.
Furthermore, George Akume, a seasoned politician who previously served as the Minister of Special Duties, has been designated as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
