Vice President Kashim Shettima made a solemn visit to Kaduna State to express condolences and solidarity with the victims and families affected by the recent military airstrikes in Tudun Biri village, Igabi Local Government Area.
The tragic incident occurred during the Maulud celebration, leading to the loss of lives and injuries among Muslim worshippers due to a military drone attack intended for terrorists and bandits.
Welcomed at the Nigerian Air Force base, Mando, by Governor Uba Sani and high-ranking officials from the Kaduna State Government, the Vice President arrived alongside Speaker Abbas Tajuddeen, Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, and APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Their presence in Kaduna symbolized a collective expression of condolence and support for those affected by the heartbreaking event.
The Vice President’s visit stood as a gesture of empathy and solidarity in the aftermath of the regrettable incident that resulted in the loss of innocent lives and injuries to several others during a period of religious observance.
