President Bola Tinubu is currently engaged in a closed-door session with governors elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The meeting, shrouded in secrecy regarding its agenda, is taking place at the council chamber of the State House.
Okay.ng gathered that approximately 15 governors are in attendance. The notable figures include representatives from Imo, Sokoto, Kwara, Benue, Kaduna, Cross River, Ogun, Borno, Ondo, Yobe, Kebbi, Jigawa, Kogi, Ekiti, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State. Sanwo-Olu’s presence comes shortly after the Supreme Court affirmed his election victory in a landmark decision earlier in the day.
The closed-door nature of the meeting has sparked speculation about the nature of discussions, with political analysts closely watching for any indications of the party’s strategic plans, policy discussions, or potential future collaborations.
