The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has taken a significant step in constituting his administration by forwarding the names of six commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The nominees, announced by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, in a statement on Friday, are Omowumi Isaac, Olukayode Ajulo, Razaq Obe, Emmanuel Igbasan, Akinwumi Sowore, and Oseni Oyeniyi.
Additionally, Governor Aiyedatiwa has appointed three special advisers to provide strategic guidance and support in key areas of governance.
The newly appointed special advisers are Olugbenga Omole, who will serve as Special Adviser on Information and Strategy; Olamide Falana, appointed as Special Adviser on Gender Affairs; and Alabi Johnson, who assumes the role of Special Adviser on Energy.
Several of the commissioner nominees have previously served in the cabinet of the late Rotimi Akeredolu, former governor of Ondo State.
