Renowned American rapper Rick Ross has made waves across social media with a special shout-out to African musicians, including Portable and Odumodublvck, expressing his admiration for the continent’s culture, food, and music.
In a video shared on his Instagram, the hip-hop icon conveyed his profound love for Africa, highlighting his extensive touring experiences spanning over 15 years across 13 different African countries.
Ross emphasized his fascination with African cuisine, fashion, and the globally acclaimed music scene.
Proposing a groundbreaking collaboration, Ross revealed his intention to spearhead a collaborative album featuring African artists in conjunction with Brett Berish and other industry stakeholders.
“I have a got a huge announcement. First and foremost I love Africa. I have touring Africa for the last 15 years. I have been to over 13 different countries in Africa. I love the food, the culture. I love the fashion. And the world loves the music. So what I want to do is to bring more attention to Africa. Let us do a huge collaboration album. Myself, Brett Berish, all the amazing artistes in Africa, amazing producers, let us collaborate,” Ross exclaimed in the video.
