President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, over the passing of his brother, Salihu Ahmadu Ribadu, who died on Sunday, May 5, in Yola, Adamawa state.
According to a statement issued by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Tuesday, May 7, the president was represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, who led a federal government delegation on a condolence visit to Yola.
Speaking at the Ribadu family home, the Chief of Staff expressed the president’s sadness over the loss, describing it as “painful and irreparable.” He emphasized the importance of coming together to commiserate with the bereaved family during this difficult time.
The president’s delegation was sent to condole with the National Security Adviser and his family over the sad loss, demonstrating the administration’s support and solidarity during this challenging period.
