The PTDF Overseas Scholarship is designed to provide talented Nigerian students with access to quality postgraduate education in countries known for their outstanding academic programs in fields relevant to the oil and gas industry. For the 2024/2025 academic session, the scholarship is available for selected programs in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Malaysia.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the PTDF Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a minimum of Second Class Upper (2.1) in their first degree or a Second Class Lower (2.2) with relevant industry experience.
- Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC).
- Be computer literate.
- Possess 5 O/level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Provide a statement of purpose (maximum 500 words).
Selection Process
The selection process for the PTDF scholarship is highly competitive. Candidates are evaluated based on:
