Cristiano Ronaldo, star striker for Al Nassr, has acknowledged that his time on the pitch is nearing its end. The admission came after Ronaldo scored in his team’s 2-1 victory over Al Rayyan in the AFC Champions League, Okay.ng reports.
Speaking after the game, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner said: “I’m just enjoying playing football now as I know I don’t have much time left on the pitch.”
Ronaldo emphasized that his priorities have shifted from winning individual accolades to focusing on enjoying the game and contributing to his team’s success.
“It is not important to me now to be the best player or to win awards. What is important to me now is to enjoy and help my team,” he added.
Since joining Al Nassr in December 2022, following his controversial departure from Manchester United, Ronaldo has secured just one trophy, the Arab Club Champions Cup.
