Nasarawa state Governor, Tanko Al-makura, has disclosed that the All Progressives Congress is likely going to take a final stand concerning last week’s national assembly elections on Tuesday when the enational caucus of the party and the Board of Trustees (BoT) meet.
Al-makura told journalists in an interview in Lafia, the Nasarawa capital on Monday that the outcome of the election was “unfortunate”. He however expressed confidence in the ability of the party to come out stronger and more united.
“There is nothing abnormal about what happened. It is politics and this is because the APC is a conglomerate of varying interests.
“I consider what happened in the National Assembly as something natural and in spite of the bad blood this generated, we remain one united family,” Al-Makura told journalists in the presence Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a former governor of the state.
