FIFA president Sepp Blatter has been released from the hospital, days after being admitted for an emotional breakdown.
Sepp Blatter, who is being probed amidst a corruption scandal at the football governing body, is currently sitting out all FIFA activities as part of a 90-day ban.
“He had to stay a few days in hospital but now he is out, he is at home in (the canton of) Valais,” former publicist Klaus Stoelhker said in an interview on Thursday.
“He is very happy and he is relaxing a few days until the beginning of next week and then he will be back.”
Blatter will be vacating his post in February 2016, when a new election will be held for a new president.
