A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday remanded People’s Democratic Party Spokesman, Olisah Metuh, in Kuje Prison pending hearing of his bail application.
Justice Okon Abang gave the order while ruling on an oral bail application made by Metuh`s lawyer, Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN).
Abang refused the oral application because it did not disclose sufficient evidence as stipulated by the law.
The judge said that the defendant failed to provide sufficient evidence as required under Section 162 (a) and (b) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015.
Below are pictures of Metuh surrounded by EFCC officials, his lawyers and associates.
Some protesters stormed the court asking the anti-graft agency to leave him alone.
