The Department of State Service, DSS, had earlier arraigned Kanu before Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the same court on a six count charge of treasonable felony, but Kanu had expressed his reservation for the Judge, saying he has no confidence in him. Following his vote of no confidence on thejudge, the matter was transferred to Justice John Tsoho.
