Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has increased the bounty on the killers of five soldiers in Obikabia Junction, Aba, from N25 million to N30 million.
This development came during a meeting with top military officers, including the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Hasan Abubakar, at the Governor’s country home in Isiala-Ngwa Local Government Area.
Governor Otti reiterated his commitment to making Abia State unsafe for terrorists, killers, kidnappers, and other criminals. The additional N5 million was donated by an indigene of the state based in the United States.
The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration between the state government and the Nigeria Air Force to ensure the security of life and property in Abia State. The Chief of Air Staff assured of continued synergy with other security agencies to achieve this goal.
