The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has sacked head coach, Sebastien Desabre.
The 42-year-old was dismissed from his role as Uganda head coach following their exit from the tournament.
The Uganda national football team lost 1-0 to Senegal on Friday.
However, the Ugandan federation released a statement on Sunday confirming the exit of Desabre.
The statement reads:
FUFA is grateful for Mr. Desabre’s contribution to the sporting and professional development of the Uganda Cranes, including qualifying for the finals and the knockout stages of CAN-2019.
The French man has just five months left on his contract.
Desabre becomes the second manager to be sacked after Javier Aguirre was dismissed by the host nation, Egypt.
