Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Femi Fani-Kayode has downplayed the setting up of a committee on restructuring Nigeria by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The All Progressives Congress (APC) had constituted a committee to articulate its position on restructuring of the country as agitations in that regard increase.
The party`s national publicity secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, made this known in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday.
He said the decision to raise the committee is part of resolutions reached at a meeting between the party`s National Working Committee (NWC) and governors elected on its platform.
Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has been named as the committee chairman.
In a post on his Twitter page, the former Minister of Aviation compared the move to ”Satan setting up a committee on reconciliation with God.”
”The APC setting up a commitee on restructuring Nigeria is like satan setting up a commitee on reconciliation with God. They do NOT want it,” he wrote.
