Ariana Grande, Madonna – The two teamed up together for their short performance after sharing snaps of rehearsals as a contribution to the charity called Raising Malwai, which benefits orphaned children in Africa.
According to U.S. Weekly, Madonna raised a total of $7.5 million for the organization , also singing Britney Spears’s “Toxic” to Donald Trump’s image and having her ex-husband Sean Penn crawl handcuff her and crawl through her legs, but it’s clear her time on stage with Ariana was the highlight of the evening.
The two seemed to be hitting off beforehand. “Beyond excited to support @raisingmalawi and shimmy with my queen @madonna tonight (in her very own Rebel Heart tour outfit ?) @artbasel,” Ariana wrote in a behind-the-scenes selfie.
“Rehearsing with La Grande backstage before Tears of a Clown @artbasel for @raisingmalawi,” Madonna captioned a photo of the two. “Thank you everyone for your support!!”
