- TERRY G
Things have gone way out of expectations for the Ginger master as his action at Muson Center at Bash’s comedy event has escalated from frypan to fire for him.
DJ Association of Nigeria (DJAN) has Placed an Embargo On Terry G, Stopping Djs From Playing His Songs. After Terry G assaulted the Legendary Dj Jimmy Jatt’s protege at Bash’s event, the association of Djs in Nigerian have come to a consensus and have decided to place a ban on Terry G. The ban stops every Dj in Nigerian from playing his songs in the club, street, television, bars, lounge and any event.
Deejay Association of Nigerian (DJAN) wrote a letter to this effect and every Nigerian Dj is expected to adhere to the directive of their organization. Below is a copy of the letter written by the body:
Attention:
All Nigerian DJs in Nigeria,
All Nigerian DJs in Diaspora,
All Radio DJs, VDJs & OAPs,
All Club, Lounge, Event Centers, Bars etc,
All Street DJs,
Music Promoters,
Event Planners,
The General Public.
EMBARGO ON ALL TERRY G’s SONGS
It is with due respect that we hereby call on your solidarity to the aforementioned situation. The Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN) through the disciplinary committee had over the years intervened on issues affecting our members and Musicians cum Artistes whenever our Rights are trampled upon and Mr Gabriel Oche Amanyi aka Terry G have been given verbal warning on several occasions in recent times.
On Sunday the 5th of June 2016 at the Muson Center, Lagos State, Nigeria, a music/comedy show held and Terry G was not among the artiste billed to perform, he begged the organizers until he was told to perform for seven minutes, but he got on stage already tipsy and after about 18 minutes on stage insulting everyone, the organizers asked the DJ to play a different song by another artist, no sooner had the song began to play that Terry G descended on the DJ who was the head DJ of Jatt Incorporated. Beyond assault, the DJ sustained various degree of injuries on his face; right in front of the Legendary Dj Jimmy Jatt.
This type of violence and physical abuse is unacceptable.
Meanwhile, Terry G has begged for forgiveness by putting up an apology letter. Read below;
