Barcelona are reported to be interested in signing Juventus star
Leonardo Bonucci.
According to Tuttosport, the blaugrana have shown the interest in the 30-year-old centre-back as they want to sign a top-class defender to play close to Gerard Piqué next season.
Barcelona had made Marquinhos their summer transfer priority to
strengthen their defensive pack but the Brazilian has just signed a contract extension with PSG, committing his future to his current club until 2022.
Juventus are not open to sell Bonucci. The Serie A giants do not want to sell their stars and they are not going to listen to any offer for their star defender.
Their position, however, could change if the player asks to leave the club after seven years spent in Turin. The Old Lady hopes Bonucci won’t change his mind opting to stay at the Allianz Stadium, just like he did last summer when he rejected a chance to move to Manchester City.
