AFRICA’s fastest woman, Blessing Okagbare appears to have gotten her groove back after leading the female relay team to win gold at the ongoing All African Games in Congo. Okagbare who ran the second leg of the relay had the impressive support of Cecilia Francis, Ngozi Onwumere and Lawretta Ozoh who also gave their best. Okagbare showed up at the games after the Nigerian Sports Commission threatened to ban her from participating at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio, Brazil. Nigeria had earlier lost the 100m female race to Ivorien athlete, Josee Talou after Blessing Okagbare withdrew from the sprint event.
