Last year, terrorist group, Boko Haram pledged loyalty to the Islamic State (ISIS) but not much was done by the two groups publicly to show their relationship.
However, a new joint video has reportedly been released by the two groups for the first time.
The video showed a suspected Nigerian soldier, who was said to have been captured in battle in the North-East.
The video showed the said soldier in a kneeling position surrounded by three terrorists wielding AK 47 assault rifles and later another picture without the head.
The location of the action was not specified in the latest video.
Also, the leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, did not speak in the video.
