A small plane crash in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, on Saturday afternoon resulted in a house fire and a significant emergency response. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that the SOCATA TBM7 aircraft crashed shortly before 12:30 pm.
The FAA stated that the number of people aboard the plane was unknown, and that both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are conducting investigations.
The plane had departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa, heading for Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis. Video footage showed the house consumed by flames, with firefighters working to extinguish the blaze. Authorities have not yet confirmed any casualties or injuries.
