Former Governor of Plateau state Jonah Jang and another accused person have been granted bail by a High Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
Jang, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party and a serving senator, is standing trial for alleged corruption during his tenure.
But according to the presiding judge, Justice Daniel Longji, Jang must provide two sureties who will pay N100million each.
One of the sureties must be a First Class traditional ruler within the jurisdiction.
He is also required, as one of the conditions for the bail, to deposit his international passport.
