Founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, has been granted bail.
In a telephone conversation, Frank Mba, spokesman of the force, confirmed this to Okay.ng on Tuesday night.
He noted that Fatoyinbo was served bail hours after questioning him over the rape allegation.
Mba said he is however still in custody pending he meet his bail conditions.
In his words:
“He is still with us, but I can’t say if he would be released tonight.
“It depends on if he meets the bail conditions that would be given to him, but he has been granted administrative bail.”
