Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has dropped his eagerly awaited extended play (EP) titled ‘Before The Feast’.
The six-track EP became available on streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday. Last year, Falz had teased the project with the release of ‘Ndi Ike’, featuring Flavour and Odumodublvck.
The full EP includes other tracks such as ‘How Many’, ‘Chop The Life’, ‘Popping Tonight’, ‘Shake Kake’, and ‘Who Go Pay’. For this body of work, Falz enlisted the talents of Adekunle Gold, Crayon, Phyno, and Shaybo.
‘Before The Feast’ follows Falz’s recent collaborative track with Simi, ‘Borrow Me Your Baby’.
Since launching his career in 2009, Falz has become a household name in Nigerian music. He is renowned for his songs that often address issues of bad governance and societal ills, including hits like ‘Wehdone Sir’, ‘Child of the World’, and ‘Talk’.
Falz’s impressive music career has earned him several accolades, including ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2016 City People Entertainment Awards.
In addition to his music career, Falz has also made his mark in the film industry. He made his movie debut in 2016 with ‘Couple of Days’ and has been featured in several movies since then.
