Former Minister of Culture and Tourism Femi Fani-Kayode has called on former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Fani-Kayode, who made the call on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as a divided and dying party.
”The @APCNigeria is divided and is dying. I call on @atiku,a man of courage, to return back to @OfficialPDPNig. We love u and that is ur home,” he wrote.
Atiku had on Tuesday criticised the APC over its failure to organise statutory meetings for its organs.
He made this statement at the 2nd Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria (IPAC) annual conference in Abuja.
In the course of giving his contribution, the former vice president told the APC representative at the conference that internal party democracy and electoral reforms are necessary to ensure that the people always find expression in governance.
The @APCNigeria is divided and is dying. I call on @atiku,a man of courage,to return back to @OfficialPDPNig.We love u and that is ur home.
