Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML has addressed rumors of rivalry between himself and fellow YBNL Nation artist, Asake, stating unequivocally that there is no competition within the record label.
The “Peru” hitmaker, in a recent interview with Max FM Lagos, shed light on the collaborative and supportive atmosphere within YBNL, emphasizing the camaraderie shared among himself, Asake, and their label boss, renowned rapper Olamide.
Fireboy asserted, “I don’t think there is any competition in YBNL because everyone is on a different lane. We could all drop our songs one week from each other and nobody would be angry. There’s genuine love. There’s genuine brotherhood among us.”
