The panel set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate the activities of the past administration will be utilizing the services of two two international forensic auditors to determine how much the federal government earned since January 2010 to the end of the last administration and how the money was spent.
The committee overseen by Governors Adams Oshiomhole and Nasir El-Rufai made this declaration during their inaugural meeting in Abuja on Thursday.
Already, some revenue generating agencies, including Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) have been invited to brief the committee.
The focus will be on the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, the Nigeria Customs Service, the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigeria Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative, NEITI, among others.
