The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, paid a New Year’s courtesy visit to his Bayelsa State counterpart, Governor Douye Diri, at his country home in Sampou.
Governor Fubara shared the news of the visit on his social media handle on Thursday.
Accompanied by a series of photos capturing moments from the visit, Governor Fubara wrote, “We paid a New Year’s visit to our brother, Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. #govdouyediri at his country home in Sampou. It was rewarding as it availed the opportunity for heart-to-heart talks on improving the relationship between our states. It was lighthearted, and we have promised to sustain this progress for the benefit of our states.”
