Ander Herrera has hit back at fellow Manchester United players who have criticised Jose Mourinho since he was sacked.
The Spanish midfielder backed his former manager, stating that he hate seeing players speak ill of a coach who has already left.
Herrera joined Manchester United in 2014 in a deal worth £29 million and also won Manchester United Player of the Year ward in 2017.
Speaking in defence of Jose Mourinho, Herrera said: “I do not like to make comparisons and I detest when the players speak ill of a coach who has already left.
“I only have words of thanks to Mourinho, he has made me better, I played a lot with him and I was named the best player of the season with him on the bench.”
