Hull City have suspended midfielder Jake Livermore after he tested positive to cocaine.
The England international failed a random drug test after Hull’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, forcing the club to suspend him.
Livermore, 25, faces a 2-year ban should the FA find him guilty of the violation.
A statement from Hull read:
“Following suspension by the FA the club has subsequently suspended Jake Livermore pending further investigations to be made by the FA and our own internal disciplinary procedures. The club is unable to make any further comment during this process.”
