Super Eagles vice-captain Ahmed Musa has said that he has lost a father in Stephen Keshi.
The Jos-born star, who lost his own father at a very young age and was therefore brought up by his mother, said he was shocked to hear of the news of Keshi’s death and that the football world has lost a professional.
“This is a very sad news that is still very hard to believe,” he said.
“He was a professional, who didn’t joke with his job.
“He was a good man with good heart.
“He was also like a father to me which means I lost a father in him.”
The CSKA Moscow star was on Keshi’s team for the 2013 AFCON as well as the 2014 FIFA Confederations Cup and World Cup in Brazil.
