The Nigerian is pleased with his run with the
Citizens and hopes to do more if given the
chance by Pep Guardiola.
Kelechi Iheanacho feels he is improving with English Premier League outfit, Manchester City.
The Nigerian got a goal plus an assist as Pep
Guardiola’s men defeated Bournemouth 4-0
at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday – thus,
extending his scoring run to three games at a
stretch.
And the 19-year-old while saluting his team’s
commanding display against the Cherries,
feels he is improving with the Citizens.
“I’m feeling great at the moment,” Iheanacho
told Manchester City website.
“It’s been a great performance in those three
games, I think I’m improving.
“I’ll keep working hard every day and every
game and if I get my opportunity, I’ll take it.”
He also claimed his team are looking forward
to their next outing against Swansea rather
than keep celebrating their triumph against
Bournemouth.
“We’ve won this game so we’ll put this behind
us before focusing on Swansea,” he continued.
“We are happy we’ve got the win and it’s now
time to concentrate on the games in front of
us.
“I’m feeling invincible. We’ve got a 100%
record and I’m happy with our performance,
the team, the management, the coach and
everyone.
“We’re really working hard and we’ll get
there.”
Manchester City top the English Premier
League log with 15 points from five games.
