Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa says he joined seven-time Nigerian champions Enyimba to help them win their eighth title.
Ezenwa joined the Aba outfit recently after the expiration of his contract with Southeast rivals FC Ifeanyiubah.
Enyimba and Rangers are the two sides with the highest number (seven) of NPFL titles.
However, Ezenwa said he was joining the two-time Caf Champions League winners so he could make history with them.
”Enyimba going by the record remains the most successful club in Nigeria and I’m happy to be part of this great team,” he told Completesports.
“My number one target is to be part of history by helping the club win the league title next season.
“We finished third in the league last season but I believe we can do better next season. We have a lot of quality players in the team and I see no reason why we can’t win the title.”
