The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended the presentation of certificates of return to candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara state.
Okay Nigeria had reported on Monday that a court of appeal struck out the judgement of a Zamfara High Court on the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election that produced the party’s candidates for the governorship, national and state assembly elections.
Due to the judgement by the appeal court, INEC suspended the presentation of presentation of certificates of return to candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The electoral body revealed this in a statement on Twitter.
