Former president Goodluck Jonathan has send his prayers to the departed soul of another former president, Umaru Musa Yar’adua as he remembers the sixth anniversary of his demise.
Jonathan took to his Facebook page to express regret at Yar’Adua’s exit who he described as a servant leader. He also prayed for his soul to rest in paradise.
Jonathan wrote: “Six years ago I lost a dear friend and partner in democracy, peace and progress. President Umaru Musa Yar’adua was a servant leader and a stickler for the rule of law. He may be gone but he is never to be forgotten. I pray for his soul and for him to rest in al Jannah firdaus.”
