Okay.ng has learned that the meeting was held on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Governors were led to meet the President by Atiku Bagudu, Kebbi governor and chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF).
Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Staff to the President; Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna State, Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti State and Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno State, were among those present at the meeting.
