Fuji music icon, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 de Ultimate, has responded to allegations of maltreatment leveled against him by his former drummer, Kunle Ayanlowo.
In a recent interview on Agbaletu TV, Kunle Ayanlowo recounted instances of what he described as “harsh treatment” endured during his time working with K1 de Ultimate. He detailed alleged incidents of exploitation and control, including the confiscation of passports upon return to Nigeria and orders to return home instead of seeking urgent medical care.
However, K1 de Ultimate has vehemently denied these allegations, addressing the issue in a recent video posted on Instagram. Speaking in his distinctive Yoruba musical style, K1 urged Kunle to refrain from spreading false information while cautioning against the influence of dishonest individuals.
“Lairs and naysayers get away from me, stop lying. Trying to damage the reputation that raised you when you were a nobody. Disassociate from liars, you have nothing to gain from them,” he expressed in parts of the video.
K1 de Ultimate also highlighted his role in Kunle’s rise to fame and expressed disappointment at what he perceived as an attempt to tarnish his reputation.
