Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has encouraged his fellow citizens to remain grateful for their identity as Nigerians, despite the various challenges confronting the nation.
In a reflective message shared on his X handle, the singer described being Nigerian as a privilege, highlighting the country’s resilience and potential to overcome adversity.
“Take a second to appreciate what God has done for you; making you a Nigerian,” Kizz Daniel wrote.
“He gave you a time before the actual time, cus Naija is ahead of time. It might seem like the rough, but guess where diamonds come from? The rough.”
The singer, known for hits like Buga and Cough (Odo), used the metaphor of diamonds emerging from rough conditions to convey optimism about Nigeria’s future despite its current economic and social challenges.
