Arsenal forward, Alexander Lacazette, set to play against French club, Rennes in the Europa League match on Thursday,
Lacazette was handed a three-game suspension following his red card in the first leg of the Gunners’ Europa League last-32 tie with BATE Borisov last month.
The Premier league club appealed against the decision but was later reduced to just two games by the UEFA.
The decision from UEFA Control, Ethics, and Disciplinary Body read: “The appeal lodged by Arsenal FC has been partially upheld.
“To suspend the Arsenal FC player Alexandre Lacazette for two (2) UEFA competition matches for which he would be otherwise eligible for serious rough play.
